During the summer school holidays, we were tasked with upgrading an outdated 4-zone conventional fire alarm system that provided only minimal detection coverage.
The project needed to be completed within the holiday period to ensure the school was fully operational before students and staff returned.
Our solution
We installed a new Protec 4-loop L2 fire alarm system with more than 230 devices, providing comprehensive coverage across both the main school and annex building. The installation also included integration with plant shutdown systems and access control for improved safety and compliance.
The result
The entire upgrade was completed one week ahead of schedule, allowing the school plenty of time for final decorating and reinstatement before reopening. The new system delivers significantly improved fire detection, enhanced building integration and greater peace of mind for staff, students and visitors.
